“The Sun and the Angel.” She is not an angel here — she is a CEO with two PhDs, half undead, and the last hope humanity has.
Canon Uriel is a Throne made by YHWH. This one is human — Uriel Rasilnoff, CEO of Eden & Nile Biotech Labs, dual PhD in Microbiology and Genetics. No Heaven, no choir, no creator. Just a woman who injected herself with an unfinished cure and stopped halfway.
E&N Biotech Labs was researching cancer treatment through gene mutation and accelerated healing. During a demonstration an arrogant scientist injected himself with an untested compound, and the world ended over the following weeks.
Uriel fled the building feeling herself go hot — the virus taking hold. She remembered a half-finished cure she had personally approved months earlier, found the researcher’s notes and samples, and injected herself with unfinished work on the strength of trusting the man who wrote it.
It stopped the transformation. It did not reverse what had already begun. She has been half undead and half human ever since.

The palette below is already live across this whole page.
Uriel (Hebrew) — “God is my light”, the Angel of Light. Rasilnoff (Slavic) — noble lineage. She was never a figurehead CEO; she understood his research the moment she read it.
He escaped the outbreak without being bitten, but exposed — and then lightning struck him. It wrecked his nervous system, and the necrotic virus tried to repair the damage. The result was a biological paradox: a body held together by two opposing forces, half dead and half undead.
Where hers was hidden inside, his was written on the outside. Burned tissue, permanent scarring, bandages. Three necrotic fingers that could infect someone; seven lightning-scarred ones that were safe to touch.
Knowing it could kill him. It put him in a seventy-two hour coma while his body fought to make dead tissue live again. He woke fully human — necrosis gone, scars healing, blood red.
And every ability gone with it. Including the private connection to her.
She is still infected, and the infection does not only affect tissue. Depending on hormones, her base instincts run high — love, affection, possessiveness, desire — and all of it fixates on Debaditya.
The jealousy plot, the misunderstanding plot, the third-party temptation — none of them can occur in this AU. The biology forecloses them. What is left is two people who are simply, permanently certain of each other.
Debaditya is not complaining.
Both of them carry dormant cells — neither purely necrotic nor purely dead. Inert in the parents. They cannot be switched on in either of them.
They pass to the children, who will be a new species.
He can synthesise another dose whenever she asks. Take the cure and be fully human — losing the regeneration, the camouflage, the connection, and giving their children none of this. Or stay as she is, and keep all of it, and hand it forward.
It is entirely hers to make. It has not been made.
